The awards always attract immense interest and are well recognised throughout the IT industry. IT writers are a rare breed of media beast, so the fact that so many nominations have been received this year shows terrific enthusiasm for their work.

Julian Day, Managing Director, Consensus Awards

In presenting the awards, Riordan Maynard said, “It is a pleasure to be invited to support these awards, to be here tonight and have the opportunity to meet the “real” voice of the IT industry in Australia. We join with you to recognize some of the most exceptional IT writing talent in the country today.  "The industry relies on the media to bring new technologies to the attention of business and the public.
