Brief Description
Netseek is a Sydney based internet software company that have recently launched a revolutionary Internet portal software package. Hailed by IT experts as the next generation in web hosting and portal technology, the portal software implementation is a highly cost and time effective process.

Netseek's portal software solves the problem of implementation delays and highly costly installation. Its architecture is easy to install so it can reduce the time to market for an Internet portal rollout from months to days, or even hours. A browser based content administration feature ensures ongoing content maintenance costs are distributed and reduced.

Companies or organisations can maintain their own 'business branded' Netseek portal and have online administrative access to the portals and it's associated websites through an Internet browser, using a password-protected interface. Users are able to quickly and simply update their site content through basic "save" and "cancel" functionality. Website content is updated in real time without the need for expensive IT staff or software upgrades.

By providing organisations with vertical portal infrastructure, Netseek have the ability to create a more focused and relevant search engine containing website content. Internet users will no longer have to wade through mountains of irrelevant information to reach their destination.

Netseek owns proprietary worldwide patent pending technology that allows the implementation of infrastructure for hierarchical vertical Internet search engines or portals. These are sometimes referred to as e-Marketplaces.

Netseeks advantage above its competitors is that it can build these in a very rapid time frame in comparison to traditional methods. In addition, the distribution of the content administration is seen as a valid mechanism for lowing maintenance costs.

We license our technology to businesses that require search engine or portal functionality on the Internet for their customers to use.

Netseek can solve the problem of implementation delays by reducing the time to market for an Internet portal rollout from months to weeks or days, with fewer resources.

In summary, we lower the cost of portal implementation, lower the time to market, and lower the cost of ongoing maintenance, both programmatically and with regard to content.

Whilst we provide the technology and infrastructure to power these vertical portals, our clients maintain full control of their content through an easy to use interface. User access is provided through a username and password Internet page accessible through an Internet browser.

Content maintenance can be distributed across a user base, which can maintain the content of the portal. All updates can occur in real time.

This model of service provision is called the Application Service Provider model (ASP), and is the model that is applied to our software.

Netseeks ASP portal product can provide user access to thousands of users without the distribution of a single piece of software to their PC's.

Our portal product was developed to deliver superior quality and enhanced levels of performance, in comparison to traditional methods of web site and portal implementations.

Platform architecture is market proven. (Built on Microsoft SQL Server 7.0. Microsoft Windows NT 4.0, Microsoft IIS 4.)	These are stable market tested platforms that are considered standard within many organisations. Expert resources are also easily accessible in the IT market. In addition, the database platform is compatible with many other DBMS and allows relatively easy integration with existing MIS and FMIS.
Database Driven	Netseeks data driven nature ensures that all content is stored in tables within a database, in a structured format and in one central location. This makes data access very simple, and will provide publishing options should the need arise for a printed version(s) of the portal, remembering that the portal content will be the most current. Netseeks database can be accessed using ODBC compatible interfaces such as MS Access.
Rapid Rollout of Portals and Websites	Our abilities to implement Internet portals cannot be matched. A task that traditionally takes software developers months, takes us days.
Distributed Administration	In addition to the rapid implementation time, once the portal is created and LOGIN details distributed to the various members, they can log in, in parallel, to update their content and links.
Ease of Access For Member Updates	Netseek was built to eliminate the need for distributed administration software (client software). Netseek portals and their web sites can be fully maintained using only an Internet browser such as Internet Explorer 4.0 + or Netscape Navigator 4.5 +.This also eliminates much of the support associated with setting up wizard or administration software on client PC's.
Real Time Updates	All of Netseeks updates occur in real time. This ensures that content of the portal is current. Netseek functionality is based on simple <SAVE> and <CANCEL> buttons, with one click required to do achieve most tasks.
Integration With Internet Technologies and Services	Netseek portals have a unique central architecture that allows the distribution of functional enhancements to occur in real time across the portal websites. This equates to substantial saving in time and effort when implementing enhancements across the portal base.
Portal Searching Accuracy	Web site owners (members) also have the ability to specify their own search keywords to ensure they are in control of being located within the portal. Searches can be conducted against a myriad of fields including keywords, business names, categories, products and services.
Supports Catalogue Item Searches and Catalogue Page Views	Product catalogue items can be indexed and classified within the portal to offer advanced product searching capability to users.

National Potential
Netseeks product is both industry and content independent, thus allowing the creation of many business-2-business portal products for many industries.

Our key strategy is to partner with organisations that have an SME customer or membership base, and offer our portal product to them and their customers.

Publishers of Printed Directories: Many publishers of directories can now offer online equivalents of their publications using our technology. These implementations may only take a marginal effort to set up, however new revenue streams can be created, by allowing businesses to purchase enhanced listings within the directory. Our technology avoids the associated costs of installing expensive IT infrastructure.

Trade Shows, Conferences and Exhibitions: These organisations can cost effectively create their own virtual exhibitions as a year round extension to their physical exhibitions using Netseek's portal software. Each exhibitor, conference sponsor etc., can have their own site within the portal and the easy to upgrade nature of the Netseek product means that users can keep their sites up to date with changing stock, information and services.

In-built shopping cart facilities can further enhance each exhibitor's/sponsor's consumer accessibility. These portals can operate pre, post and during the event, significantly expanding the marketing reach of the promotion

A large number of International opportunities exist, for both English and non-English speaking markets. We are presently in discussions with various groups in the US regarding licensing and distribution opportunities.
