HiWay utilizes leading edge technology from SUN Microsystems. Triaton's implementation of "Jiro" for a distributed architecture is a revolutionary concept that delivers new features and flexibility that have not been seen before in an Enterprise Application Integration (EAI) solution.

Sun Microsystems, Inc. and Triaton(tm) Australia, a ThyssenKrupp Information Services company, have announced that Triaton is shipping A2A(tm) HiWay software, the first Jiro(tm) technology-based software product. HiWay software is a strategic integration product that enables application analysts to develop comprehensive solutions that are platform independent and distributed.

HiWay software's simple graphical user interface (GUI) allows the IT professional to represent the integration challenge pictorially. For example, a customer may need to integrate its enterprise resource planning (ERP) system with an overseas supplier that uses a different database and operating system. Once the scenario is outlined, HiWay software constructs a solution through a combination of tried and proven industry-standard transportation protocols, data transformation tools, applications, and adaptors identifying the specific requirements for data extraction. Typically, in less than the time it takes for lunch, a solution is in place that allows electronic transactions to be completed seamlessly. In addition, HiWay can integrate multiple systems and applications.
