AptrixConnect presents an extensible framework for the rapid integration of web applications with core back-end systems, various servers and other information sources.

Content Integration from Disparate Systems:

• Provides a platform for conducting transactions requiring access to both core back-end systems such as SAP and concurrent aggregation of content and presentation data from other sources.

• Allows connections to various systems and information sources including SQL databases such as DB2 and Oracle, XML repositories, web applications, application components and other web sites.

• Provides just-in-time parsing of HTML/XML data.

• Allows for the retrieval and integration of content from information sources, and can embed multiple content components such as web pages ‘within’ another web page.

Presentation and Delivery of Aggregated Content:

• Allows HTML templates to be specified for presenting or wrapping the content, enforcing a consistent look and feel and ensuring navigational consistency and efficiency.

• Merges the resulting content, integrated from various sources, within the separate presentation layer.

• Provides multiple delivery mechanisms allowing the final merged content to be displayed appropriately for the web browser, WAP phone or other viewing device. 

Performance and Caching:

• Provides multiple mechanisms for caching information allowing fast retrieval by subsequent requests.

Innovation

With the dawn of e-business, many companies’ operations have been open to an unprecedented level of scrutiny. Performance

With the official product launch during Euro Lotusphere (Berlin, Germany, 26 September 2000), AptrixConnect was made commercially available to enthusiastic partners and clients on November 16, 2000. Telecommunications organization Alcatel has already launched an international online service integrating between its SAP system and WAP telephony delivery capability using AptrixConnect as the delivery infrastructure. Representatives from Alcatel will be speaking about the value of this solution to an international audience at Lotusphere in Orlando, Florida USA, in January 2001.

Presence Online is well positioned in the international marketplace to deliver this solution leveraging the existing infrastructure developed around the delivery of the existing Aptrix product set. Presence Online are servicing and supporting business partners out of regional Head Offices, located in Australia, London, the US and Mexico, and are in the process of establishing offices in Asia. 

Presence Online is also extending market reach through marketing programs and the formation of strategic alliances with major international software groups such as IBM and Lotus.
