Product Description

Pasigraphy is a pasigraphic programming language. A pasigraphic language is one that is universally and symbolically defined (see definition), rather than locally and explicitly, and so is understandable by all people.

Pasigraphy is a programming language designed to be comprehensible by all people universally.

Pasigraphy is pasigraphic by being an idealist programming language: a central core of programming concepts is expressed as either universally comprehensible symbols or as locally comprehensible syllables. These are bound together with a grammar so they form naturalistic expressions to convey their meaning to programmer and machine.

Pasigraphy is based on a systematic a priori analysis of the tasks required for computation. A hierarchical symbology of these tasks is then created on the basis of this analysis, and it is with these symbols that the interpreter works. It is thus an idealist programming language.

Pasigraphy works by having this core symbol-set of programming forms (the p-set), represented by a semasiographic expression-set (an e-set) and interpreted by an interpreter as an action-set (the a-set).

Innovation

By using a completely different structure of language design, it is interoperable in terms of human languages and writing systems - there is an interoperability at a basis level permitting extremely complex systems to be written in non-english non-roman systems, and be shared with us/English/Roman system. This permits a true internationalism in the language, being natively coded in (eg) Japanese, Chinese, French, Tagalog etc. This is a breakthrough in language design that has not been met with before

Performance

P is an ultra-rapid, modularised and generic programming system, enabling blue-printed program design from standard modules and exception packages

Potential

P system has been designed with international ubiqity in mind. It has been initially designed as a server side scripting language, but there is a development team producing a compiler as well. Potential comes in a three-pronged fashion. Beginner programmers will find the structure intuitive, current programmers will find common ground with P and their current environments and thirdly, the code produced can be transferred across racial language barriers for the first time as the structure remains the same.

Anyone who comes into contact with the language will find it readily intuitive and logical.
