Product Description
ClockOn: Time, Attendance and Payroll SystemWhat Is ClockOn? ClockOn is a powerful, fully integrated and user configurable tool for small and medium business, offering time and attendance, payroll, rostering, leave, HR and compliance management. It can be operated in a distributed environment with multiple locations and is capable of exporting data to and from general ledger software packages. Employees are paid directly and electronically.
Product Range: ClockOn Lite is the introductory shareware version. ClockOn Standard offers full functionality but no network capability. ClockOn Professional is the primary LAN module designed for small business. ClockOn Enterprise is the distributed version, designed for businesses with multiple locations and many employees. It offers full export and import capability.
Clocking on and off: ClockOn records time and attendance through a keyboard-driven user name and password system or alternatively using a programmed swipe card reader.
Rostering: ClockOn offers a sophisticated fully integrated rostering system, including a Roster Cost function which enables the Administrator to accurately project labour costs for any given shift, day or roster period, incorporating penalties, overtime loadings and allowances.
Awards are accurately interpreted using the Rule Manager: This user configurable function addresses complex awards and automates payments for overtime, penalties and loadings without the need for additional calculations. Using this powerful tool, the entire payroll can be generated in seconds, with one keystroke.
Employment record: A fully audited record of payroll, timesheets, rostering, leave and alerts, plus an employee/shift/date-linked critical notation system provides a comprehensive and valuable record of employment.
Integration saves time: and assures accuracy by eliminating human error, effort and stress in integrating rosters, timesheets, leave, attendance, payroll and electronic banking.
Not just another Payroll: Payroll is the bottom line of the employment relationship, equivalent in many respects to the tip of the Iceberg. ClockOn is unique in providing the necessary infrastructure to take into account all the issues that impact on that relationship and on the payroll. We call those Issues the nuts and bolts of employment.
The most powerful weapon yet seen by small business: Whereas other products offer various elements which can be identified in ClockOn (either singly or in combination), none has achieved the degree of comprehensiveness, integration or sophistication that has been developed in ClockOn. The numerous features offered far exceed the requirements of most users and provide numerous opportunities for improving management.

Performance
The functional and practical specification for the code has been developed employing the resources of an Industrial Relations consultant, accountants and industry association representatives. The product has been rigorously tested prior to official endorsement by the Pharmacy Guild of Australia, the Australian Dental Association NSW and Victoria and the Baking industry Association of NSW.
The product has been under continual review and improvement during development, and a detailed help desk record is maintained as part of customer relations management, assuring product feedback.
Silence is golden!
New users typically call the help desk over the first three or four payroll cycles after which they taper off into silence. Approximately 150 users currently rely on ClockOn for its numerous functions and during a recent company office shutdown (December 24, 2003 to January 5, 2004), there was not one problem encountered by any user.

Potential
Our target market in Australia is 120,000 small to medium businesses which suffer from problems with payroll and compliance. Such companies typically have little or no Industrial Relations support and we have addressed this problem through the design of our product. Industry Association endorsements gained have been in recognition this. Compliance is a major and increasing issue here and overseas, as identified in research performed in the United Kingdom.
Our Rule Manager, as well as being user configurable, is infinitely expandable and subject to the availability of resources for marketing and development, is capable of application in any country.
Thus the potential for the application is unlimited
