Recover My Files Data Recovery Software from GetData Pty Ltd |

Product Description
Recover My Files™ is data recovery software that will recover deleted files emptied from the Windows Recycle Bin, or lost due to the format of a hard drive, virus infection and unexpected system shutdown or software failure.
When a file is deleted from a Windows Operating System the contents of the file is rarely destroyed. If the Windows reference information remains intact, Recover My Files™ reconstructs the link to the deleted file to enable data recovery. Even if the reference information itself has been destroyed, Recover My Files™ scans the storage media at a low level to locate “Lost Files” by their internal file structure. This allows Recover My Files™ to locate and recover files that other data recovery software programs could never know exist.
No technical or data recovery software skill is required to use Recover My Files™ . It will recover deleted files from hard drive, floppy disk, zip drive, compact flash, smart media or other removable media.
Recover My Files can be downloaded from www.recovermyfiels.com it ‘trial’ mode. It allows users to scan their computer, find deleted files and preview the contents of the deleted files. This allows users to make an informed decision as to whether to purchase a software activation key in order to save the files that have been found.

Innovation
Recover My Files has a number of unique features:
i). Recovery Techniques
Traditional data recovery programs recover deleted files by using remnant Microsoft Windows Operating System “Master File Table” (“MFT”) information. However in many instances situations the MFT records are themselves missing or corrupt.
In addition to an MFT search, Recover My Files performs a “Lost File” search. This is a complete scan of the problem media to identify deleted files by their attributes, such as the unique file header, content structure and file footer.
ii). Preview of Recovered Files
Recover My Files can be download from the Internet and run in trial mode. When a deleted file is found it is possible to preview the contents of the file in the Recover My Files preview window. This gives potential customer the confidence to know that their file/s has been found and that when the program is registered the file can be saved.
iii). Secure Saving of File to CD/DVD
Professional data recovery programs should never allow a user to save recovered files back to the disk from which they are being recovered as this process may overwrite and destroy other valuable deleted data. Recover My Files has the ability to save recovered files directly to a CD or DVD. To do this it was necessary to implement CD/DVD burning technology that writes data directly to the CD/DVD without creating temporary files on the disk.
