 Arthur's involvement in the IT industry began over fifteen years ago. During that time he has been Lecturer in Computing Sciences at UTS Ku-ring-gai after having been a member of the Education Task Force convened to develop industry-based technology learning programmes. In 1988 Arthur took the position of Head Lecturer at NSW Business College to design and deliver courses in software engineering and database design. He was later to join State Bank NSW IT as Senior Lecturer in Computer Science and become involved in software measurement techniques. He moved to on to join Charismatek Software Metrics as Senior Consultant to specialise in function point analysis.
Arthur has since formed his own measurement consulting and education company and over the past four years has provided his services to the Public Trustee, NSW Department of Community Services, Compaq, Optus, and IBM GSA as well as having been the Chairman, Australian Software Metrics Association (NSW) for two years. Arthur is currently managing the Information Management and Information Technology Project Office for the RTA. |
