Cameron Moroney’s responsibilities encompass finance, information technology, property portfolio management and legal services for RMIT University. The role is newly created and focused on creating and capturing business value through strong financial management and focused business improvement, value driven information technology and portfolio management of the University’s asset mix.

Previous senior roles have been with Ericsson Australia, New Zealand & the Pacific as Director Information Technology and BHP.

During the second half of calendar 2000, Cameron was the Interim Chief Executive Officer for corProcure, where he played a critical role in the accelerated establishment of the initiative, including assisting to facilitate 14 of Australia's leading companies to become founding shareholders of the company, defining the business case for e-procurement and the establishment of an e-market, leading marketplace technology selection, negotiation and implementation and driving business establishment, including buyer and supplier enablement, through transition to operating mode.

Cameron held a number of senior positions over a 20-year career within BHP including various senior roles in finance, strategy and planning, market and business development and line operations.
