As the founder and principal of Just a Conversation; Hugh Gyton sells, coaches, and trains teams in the power of the “Selling is just a conversation” methodology.

He brings to the consultancy nearly three decades’ experience garnered in Australia, Asia Pacific and the UK. This includes senior roles with IT leaders such as Comshare (now part of GEAC), EMC and KAZ Computer Services (now part of Telstra).

During his two years with KAZ, Hugh successfully negotiated more than $35M in outsourcing contracts and recruited and managed a team that marketed KAZ’s outsourcing capabilities in Australia and Singapore. Prior to this, he worked as Asia Pacific Director of Symix Computer Systems, based in Hong Kong. Responsible for 7 countries, he increased revenue by more than 300% in a one year period.

Hugh began his career with Comshare Ltd. in London. During more than a decade with the company, he rose to senior levels, including General Manager, Comshare Australia Pty Ltd, during which time he grew revenue by more than 75% over a three year period.

Having always been passionate about helping individuals and teams achieve their potential, Hugh spent nearly five years as a Leadership Management Australia Licencee honing his coaching, facilitation, and behavioural change skills.

Having facilitated in Europe, Asia, and Australia Hugh’s focus when facilitating and coaching his clients is on helping them see where they are, determine where they want to be, work out what needs to be done, and commit to a Plan of Action that will get them there.
