Paul has been involved in customer service, call centres & help desks for over 20 years and has held senior call centre/help desk Management roles with Optus, AMP, One.Tel, QANTAS and now IBM Global Services. Paul has been involved in call centre startups (Optus & AMP), stabilisation projects (One.Tel, QANTAS) and is now Business Manager, Customer Care Management Centre, IBM Global Services. Paul joined Optus Communications in 1992 and was responsible for a key call centre startup On leaving Optus in 1997, Paul joined AMP as Executive Manager - Call Centres and consolidated a number of phone rooms into a strategic contact centre within the Financial Services Division. Building on this success Paul was appointed , Director - Call Centres, at the fledgling telecommunications company One.Tel. One.Tel were experiencing a level of growth that was exceeding the call centres capability and Paul stabilised this large centre before joining QANTAS Airlines. Paul is now ,Manager - Global Support Centre at QANTAS within the IT division, and has been busy over the last 12 months yet again transforming this team into a world class call centre. Paul is now
