Peter Schultz has held senior level business development & marketing positions in both government and industry including BHP, Techsearch Inc., SA Centre for Manufacturing (SACFM), and Invest South Australia (a business unit of the Dept. of Industry & Trade).  He is Invest South Australia’s account manager for the Motorola Australia Software Centre, CSC (South Australia), Sun Microsystems, Novell & Cisco Systems.  Mr Schultz has taken a keen interest in business development and investment attraction for over 10 years with particular focus on the IT industry.

In the past 18 months at Invest South Australia Mr Schultz has attracted over $20 million of investment and in excess of 300 new jobs to the State.  Before joining Invest South Australia, at SACFM he was responsible for creating over $2.0 million in new investment from business start-ups.  As Business Development Manager – Techsearch Inc. he successfully marketed the R&D services of the University of South Australia to industry.  Mr Schultz is currently an ex-officio Steering Committee member of Software Engineering Association (SA).  Mr Schultz has a B.Eng degree from University of South Australia, and a MBA from University of Central Queensland with distinctions in Marketing.
