Tommaso Palermo joined Marconi in 1997. 

During his career at Marconi, he has worked in multiple regions including Europe, Latin America and Asia Pacific. In his current role he is responsible for the Pre-sales Support of a broad portfolio of products including Wireline and Wireless Access products (PSTN, DSL and Wireless) and Optical Networks products. He was previously involved in the design, development and testing of real-time embedded software for Marconi SDH systems, gaining experience of C/C++ development in a Real Time Operating System environment.

Tommaso was educated at the University of Catania in Italy, where he gained his Masters degree in Electronic Engineering, specializing in Telecommunications Networks, Computer Networks & Software Engineering.
